Michael S. Koch, CPA

​

Michael is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the Accountancy Board of Ohio and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Ohio Society of CPAs.

Michael was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business earning the degree of Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Upon graduation Michael worked in the national tax practice for Grant Thornton LLP with a primary focus on real estate, hospitality, and capital cost recovery. Prior to launching The Koch Group LLC, Michael was a Tax Director with a regional accounting firm where he led the tax practice for the Cincinnati office and worked principally in the restaurant practice.

Michael also has significant experience in working with manufacturing, technology, retail, professional services, and high net worth clients. He has worked with dynamic high growth companies for his entire career. Michael launched The Koch Group LLC as he identified a significant need for companies to receive more comprehensive business and tax advice much earlier in their development and growth phases.
